For the last few years the scale and I have not been friends, however about 4 weeks ago I hit my highest weight and decided that I had had enough. right about the same time a friend of my mom's talked us into trying Figure 8 by Arbonne, who she is a consultant for, I have tried shake replacements before and have been starving within and hour, so I took her sample pack with some skepiticism and tried it. I was truely surprised I loved the Vanilla and I stayed full till lunch (The trick is in the fiber suppliment they suggest adding in). I liked the idea of the shake in the morning because I don't eat breakfast I never have time, but with the shake it was really easy to get breakfast in me. I was convinced along with my mom. So we signed up to give it a try. I decided to join weight watches online as well to help me track my regular food points throughout the day. As well as hitting the Gym or pool 3 -4 times a week. (which I had been doing for about a month)
My beginning weight on Sunday, March 7th was 197 (not a fun number for me at all). I drank the shake in the morning and tracked points all day as well.
I weighed in Sunday March 14th and had to weigh in twice I was at 191.5, I was shocked, I felt better and felt like I lost some weight but not 5.5 lbs.
This past Sunday March 21 I didn't expect any weight lose (I was bloated and on my cycle sorry if that is TMI) but the scale read 189, I was excited, 2.5 lbs down.
I'm feeling great and I'm looking forward to continuing to see those numbers drop. But I know it is going to get harder every week but I excited to be off to such a great start, it differently has me motivated!!!

Back blogging
We have been so busy the past few months I have been slacking in blogging. I am going to be working on catching up, I also want to know how I can save my blog just in case something happens (so I can save it for my girls, since I have sooo not been doing photo albums).
All Grown up
Our big girl turned 5 this week, time goes by way to fast. this precious little girl:

Has turned into this amazing big girl:

Everyone has a great time being fancy at her Fancy Nancy Party and jumping on her bounce house. I still can't believe she is 5 already, she is growing up so fast but I am completely loving this stage with her.
Happy Birthday Big Girl!!! We love you!!!

Christmas and mixed emotions
I LOVE Christmas!! However for our household it comes with many mixed emotions, love and happyness of being together and the missing of Doug's mom and the reminder of Christmas of 2006, when Audrey was fighting for her life in the PICU of Children's hospital.

For those of you who have come into our life since then. Audrey was admitted into Children's on Dec 19th (her 2 month birthday) with a 103 fever and a white cell count of over 20,000. With in 48 hours she was went into respitority distress and was rushed into PICU where she was sedated and put on life support for 10 days. She was dianosed with RSV, which was very uncommon for a healthy full term baby to become as sick as she did, most extreme RSV cases like her's were results of preterm births, the drs called her the sickest RSV healthy baby they had seen. She fought with all she had and we got to bring her home on News Years Day 07.
I am forever greatful to have her home however more so around the holidays. Even if her fighting demenior drives me crazy sometimes LOL!!
This year has been really hard on Doug and I without Priscilla around, I know she is watching over us but I would much rather have her here with us. I hoping spending Christmas at the cabin this year with help lift and brighten our spirits this year.
